Turmeric In Modern Cosmetics

Turmeric In Modern Cosmetics
Turmeric  is an ancient powdered spice that is part of the ginger family. It has a wide range of therapeutic and cosmetic benefits. The active ingredient, curcumin, is a natural antiseptic with antibacterial/antimicrobial properties. It heals and prevents dry skin and is used to treat eczema and acne. Turmeric is traditionally used in daily face and hair care. It has also been shown to slow the aging process and wrinkle formation.
Turmeric is now used in modern cosmetics & soap as it is  known to reduce spots caused due to pigmentation or blotches and also for diseases like eczema. The healing properties and anti-oxidant properties of the herb have also  transformed it into a most sought after ingredient in cosmetics,as the leaf oil and  extract can also be used in sunscreens and bio-pesticides. The
contemporary cosmopolitan Asian ladies are no stranger to the multiple uses of turmeric (Curcuma longa) in cosmetics. It is well acknowledged as the best anti-oxidant, hypoglycemic,
colourant, antiseptic and wound healer.
Turmeric can be found in many of our products that we supply especially our soap because of the above reasons.
